“Investment Opportunity—Turnkey forging and CNC machining plant with trained and
assembled workforce available for acquisition or joint venture.”
The press was originally serial no. 4995 and was built for Sumitomo Heavy Industries and later owned by International Crankshaft in Georgetown, KY. ICI traded the press in for a new 7000 ton in 2000. Since then, the press components have been stored inside the Ajax building. Some were sold as used components and these will be replaced with new parts in the rebuilt machine.
These presses have been totally rebuilt under the supervision of Verson engineers. They have all new Allen Bradley PLC controls. They are equivalent to new presses. The presses are erected and under power in their plant in Chicago.
